Keshawn Lamont Dickerson

Age 18

Lynchburg, Virginia

A big, loving family, minus one

He had almost too many family members to count: He was a son and a brother to three sisters and three other siblings. He had lots of aunts, uncles, two nieces and one nephew.

It was dark, just after midnight, when gunshots were heard in the 2000 block of Third Street in Lynchburg, Virginia. Minutes later, police responded. One 911 call after the next, reporting what police would later call “a malicious wounding.”

Keyshawn Lamont Dickerson, 18, was rushed to Lynchburg General Hospital on Sept. 16, 2018. He died there of his injuries.
