Lafayette, Indiana

He was "a most loveable person"

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he was staying in Lafayette for the summer to visit relatives. He attended James H. Bowen High School, where the school vision is to “believe in the power of the individual to change not only his or her own life but the lives of others.”

Friends knew him as “Sosa” or “Bobby-C.” He was “always honest” and a “most lovable person,” according to an online testimonial.

Keiandre Holt, 16, was shot in the neck on Aug. 21, 2018 while attempting to rob a pizza delivery person, police say. His body was found outside a vacant apartment in Lafayette, Indiana, by an 11-year-old boy on his way to school.
