She did not even look hurt

She loved to dance, especially to Luther Vandross songs. Her family says her mere presence could brighten someone’s day.

A junior at Shadow Ridge High School, she was the second of seven children. Her father said that she cared for her family.

Justise Armoni Ledena Allen, 16, was shot and killed while walking down a neighborhood road with some friends in Las Vegas, Nevada. When her father went to see her at the coroner’s office, he said she looked at peace, like she wasn’t hurt.
