Jerome Jalik Robinson

Age 18

Darlington, South Carolina

Star player’s last shot, too young

His heart was in basketball. You could find him shooting hoops with family, and he had a big one — mother, father, three sisters, six uncles, one nephew and one niece. Known as “Jalik,” he attended South Florence High School and worked at the Food Lion grocery store.

He attended Better Way to Live Ministries in Florence, South Carolina. “He always came by my house almost daily and we would talk about what he wanted in his future,” a family friend wrote.

Jerome Jalik Robinson, 18, was shot and killed at a gas station on Nov. 17, 2018, in Darlington, South Carolina.
