Jaylon Javon Cohen

Age 17

Bartlett, Tennessee

Now he makes beats in heaven

He was surrounded by good company and kept out of trouble, constantly cracking jokes and dreaming of making it big in music production after graduating from Bolton High School.

Going into his senior year, he looked forward to his last year at home, producing music and spending summer nights with his 12 older brothers and sisters.

But his last summer night didn’t go as planned. Jaylon Javon Cohen, 17, was shot 14 times on July 3, 2018, in a Taco Bell parking lot in Bartlett, Tennessee, during a local fireworks show.
