Jaterrius DeWayne Conwell

Age 18

Bessemer, Alabama

Twin brother lives without other half

Nicknamed “Jay,” friends described him as laid-back, quiet, caring, loving, and cool. He had a twin brother.

He had a girlfriend, too. He loved her so much he tattooed her name on the back of his neck.

When envisioning his plans for the future, he wrote that he wanted “a family… both parents in the house, family dinner every night, game nights, movie nights… have both of US at them school conferences and all his/her shows graduation etc just to show my kids real parental love.”

Jaterrius DeWayne Conwell, 18, died on February 3, 2019, after being shot in a car in Bessemer, Alabama.
