Jalen Robert Hogue

Age 18

Detroit, Michigan

He recently graduated from high school

His mother said his roommate found him unresponsive, sprawled out on his air mattress. His room was filled with smoke and his phone was damaged.

He was just 10 days shy of turning 19. He was one of 12 children. His smile would light up a room. His family said his laughter was something that will always stay in your head. He had recently walked the stage at his high school graduation.

Jalen Robert Hogue, 18, was shot and killed by an unknown person on May 28, 2018 in his home on the 15700 block of Mansfield Street in Detroit.
