One small feud, one bullet wound

His energetic and lively spirit brightened the lives of the people around him. He was outgoing, happy and had a lot of friends, his mother said.

He loved his family and showed them his best qualities. One day, his younger sister ran to get their mother after seeing a disturbing sight — her brother bleeding out in the street.

Geovany Fabracio Hernandez, 14, was shot on Oct. 9, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee, allegedly by a teenager he was in a feud with. He died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
