Brothers, they grow and die together

El Paso, Texas, is considered one of the safest places to live in America. Yet, he rarely saw this peace on the crumbling streets of Morningside Heights in El Paso.

Born and raised in central El Paso, he faced a difficult upbringing. His neighborhood was the location of multiple shootings and gang violence.

Emmanuel Del Moro, 17, also known as “Manny,” was supposed to be home on the evening of Sept. 14, 2018. Instead, Manny, along with his brother and a friend, were shot and killed outside an apartment building.
