He came from a loving family. He was described as a jokester, always messing around and being goofy.

He was raised by his grandma from the time he was 1. She was said to pamper and care deeply for him. He loved skateboarding, hanging out with his friends, and having barbecues. “He loved his family, especially his brothers,” said his uncle.

On June 14, 2018, Emilio Gerardo Enriquez Almanza, 15, was shot and killed in the 900 block of West Sixth Street in Tracy, California. He was buying charcoal for carne asada he was going to have later that day.
