The rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “Mind of a Menace 3” cover — featuring a $100 bill — was his Instagram profile. “Deezy.dope” was his handle, his nicknames Deezy and Double-D.

He was a rap and R&B fan. He had just turned 16.  

Devon Sutton, 16, was shot at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 4, 2019 in New Iberia, Louisiana. Police said the bullet came through the window of a home on St. Jude Avenue. He died at Iberia Medical Center. The suspect was linked to a shooting seven days before of a 15-year-old on nearby Walton Street.
