Ten siblings lost their athletic brother

The Roselle teen played football from elementary school through high school. He was even offered a football scholarship to Queen of Peace High School, one of four high schools he attended.  

With football he had a big team, and at home he had a big family. He had five brothers and five sisters.

DeSean Latrey Brickhouse, 18, was shot and killed on Evergreen Avenue on Feb. 12, 2019 in Newark, New Jersey. He was taken to University Hospital in Newark where he was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m.
