Teen struggled on road to redemption

Debleezy was a young man who had just started making changes in his life to make up for troubled decisions in his past.

Described as a “strong, smart young man” by his mother, she noticed he wasn’t the same after serving time in juvenile hall. To start on his path of redemption, Debleezy planned on moving in with his grandfather, who encouraged him to “do the right thing.”

Denim Williams, 16, was found dead of a gunshot wound in a car parked in Parramore, Florida, on Jan. 4, 2019. Police said he tried to steal a phone and was shot.
