Chops and Monte: the dynamic duo
The bond between “Monte” and his puppy Chops was unbreakable. The teen spent his free time mowing lawns to ensure he had enough money for Chops to receive vaccinations and other treatment. He acknowledged the puppy as his own son.
Spay And Neuter Kansas City, the animal clinic he visited, said that “this kind of dedication, and this amazing example of the human-animal bond, touched our heart.”
De'Monte' Tyrelle Walker, 15, of Kansas City, Missouri, attended Boonville High School. He and a friend were shot the evening of June 25, 2018. Both died at Truman Medical Center.
