He was a fan of the television series “The Walking Dead.” One of seven siblings, he had four sisters and two brothers. He attended elementary and high school in Indianapolis, then moved to Michigan City with his mother.
He was sitting in a car with his girlfriend when a 16-year-old boy approached, someone she recognized from school. “What’s up?” he said.
Dareon A. Brown, 18, was shot on Dec. 18, 2018. His girlfriend drove him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The 16-year-old boy was charged with murder, and his bond set at $1 million.
