He was an 11-year-old fifth-grader who loved video games and Harry Potter. The day before, he and his family played Trivial Pursuit. He was smart and rarely lost at games. He hadn’t finished unwrapping his Christmas gifts.
A classmate hopes to see him again one day. His father hopes for a time machine so that happens. When died, his father was fighting for custody.
Dante Shen Welton was shot and killed by his mother before she took her own life on Jan. 9, 2019 in a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania motel.
