He was known for always being the first to help students with disabilities. He was not afraid to show the love he had for others. Classmates describe him as fun-loving and say he could brighten their days with his unique personality.

He lived in Azusa, California, a place that is safer than only 20 percent of American cities.

Daniel Issac Zeledon, 15, was shot on Jan. 8, 2019 in Azusa in a neighborhood less than a mile away from Azusa Pacific University. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
