Comments on a gun memorial website describe him as “down to earth” and “royal like a king.” According to his GoFundMe page, he “worked his hardest to be a productive member of society.”

Daniel Perez-Alvarez, 18, was killed in a drive-by shooting on Jan. 29, 2019, in Aurora, Illinois, while in a car with three other teenagers.
