Quiet town, killed by his father
In a photograph, his head rests atop his palm, sharp brown eyes staring off into the distance.
He moved from California to Missouri in the summer of 2017, finding peace in a quiet retirement town. A senior at Reeds Springs High School, he was “one in a million” to his friends. Both his peers and teachers adored him. One friend found injustice in his absence. “What happened to my best friend was cruel and unfair,” the friend wrote.
Daniel Gibson, 17, was killed in Reeds Springs, Missouri, on April 9, 2018. He and two other family members were shot in the head by his father.
