Cross Justice Goodwin

Age 16

Fort Collins, Colorado

Donated: heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys

A lover of magic, he brightened people’s day with his sense of humor faster than a magician makes a coin disappear.

He was a big guy but was a “caring teddy bear” with an enormous heart. His fervent will to help and care for others made his friends consider him family. He was always there, a hero to everyone who knew him.

On July 5, 2018, Cross Justice Goodwin, 16, died after a gunshot wound to the head that occurred the previous day in Fort Collins, Colorado. He donated five of his organs, becoming a hero to those who didn’t even know him.
