Christopher Dominick Carie

Age 18

Owensboro, Kentucky

Teen always put others before himself

A human with a future ahead of me:” That’s what his introductory biography on his Facebook timeline still says.

The 18-year-old had 12 siblings. A friend and classmate described him as real, respectful. “He made sure everyone around him was okay before himself,” another friend said.

Christopher Dominick Carie was shot in a triple homicide inside his home on Jan. 17, 2019, in Owensboro, Kentucky. The victims were found in the basement. Carie died just hours later at a local hospital. The next day, two men were arrested in connection to the killings.
