Teen showed appreciation for loved ones

He enjoyed being in the company of his family and friends. He wasn’t afraid to show his love and memories with them through social media.

His Facebook page shows posts dedicated to his mother and family on Mother’s Day, and pictures of past quinceañeras; family and friends were the heart of his life. When it happened, it was his 10-year-old brother who ran to a neighbor with the news.

During the afternoon of June 21, 2018, in Tucson, Arizona, 15-year-old Christian Jose Garcia Sanchez was shot dead by his stepfather; his mother suffered gunshot wounds but survived.
