He was a Georgia boy whose favorite sports teams included the Oklahoma City Thunder, Seattle Seahawks, and Denver Broncos.

The 17-year-old meant the world to his family. His mother and two siblings referred to him as their best friend.

Chevelle Tramon Thompson was shot while walking with his friends to the store in Union City, Georgia, on April 16, 2018, around 4 p.m. He was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
