That night he attended a party at a house in Pine Hills, Florida, nestled nearby a mobile home park. He had just turned 17 about three months before.
As midnight approached, he got into a heated argument that escalated quickly. He decided to step into the yard.
On Saturday, March 24, 2018, authorities found Carlos Josue Morales, 17, dying from a gunshot wound outside of a house party in Pine Hills, Florida. He was taken to Health Central Hospital, where he took his last breaths.
