Lives on in a friend’s tattoo
He lived in Detroit where he spent time with his friend Salvator, who would later get a tattoo in his honor. He was kind and funny, his aunt Yalonda remembers.
He was his mother Shanna’s “baby,” and he was close to his sister Tiffany. She said he had her back when no one else did.
Antonio Devin “Tone” Christian, 17, was fatally shot while visiting acquaintances just outside the city in Roseville, Michigan, on Dec. 11, 2018. About 100 people commemorated him at a candlelit vigil, some holding tall prayer candles to the sky.
