Grandmother and granddaughter, laughter and loss

She loved animals and had just adopted a guinea pig. She had transferred to Osceola High School, where a classmate called her “my very first friend.” Her friend hoped they “would be graduating together.”

On Sunday, March 4, 2018, she was on the porch of her house with her grandmother, with whom she lived. “[They were] laughing and giggling, like everything was OK,”  said Wes Thompson, a neighbor.

Angelica Rose Sanlino, 17, was found dead Monday morning with her mother, Keri Sanlino, 39, at home in Kissimmee, Florida. Both died of gunshot wounds; police believe Keri shot Angelica first, then herself.
