Amir Rashad Lynn

Age 18

Mims, Florida

“We only apart to meet again”

He had a love for adventure. Nicknamed “Cool” by those close to him, he was “mysterious and very curious,” his aunt, Gale Lynn, told The Trace. “He loved challenges.”

He loved his family dearly. He passed down his love of dogs and football to his brother Rashean Lynn. Rashean dedicated his graduation cap to him. It read “We only apart to meet again.” His aunt said he was an amazing kid: “The good outweighed the bad.”

Amir Rashad Lynn, 18, was shot on February 7, 2019 while fleeing the scene of an alleged crime in Mims, Florida.
