Izaiha McFarland

Age 17

Kirksville, Missouri

A charming whiz at cards lost

A former girlfriend described him as a guy who could charm your socks off. He was hilarious, making anyone around him laugh at his wit.

Playing cards together was one of their favorite pastimes. He had a strategic mind and adored the intricacies of cards, basketball, and math. He always would think before he made his next move.

What he could not anticipate was his death. On Feb. 6, 2019, Izaiha McFarland, 17, from Kirksville, Missouri, got into an argument with two teens. In anger, police say one of the boys shot Izaiha. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
